SONGMICS BELLAH Dresser Review: LED Lights and Outlets for Modern Bedrooms

The modern bedroom demands more than just a place to store clothes—it needs to be a hub for charging devices, setting the right mood, and maximizing every square inch. Enter the SONGMICS BELLAH Dresser, a piece that promises to combine ample storage with integrated LED lighting and built-in power outlets. In this review, we’ll put the BELLAH to the test and see if it lives up to the hype.

Whether you’re a tech enthusiast who needs a central charging station or someone who loves ambient lighting for a cozy atmosphere, the BELLAH Dresser aims to deliver. We’ll examine its design, assembly, storage capacity, and how it compares to other SONGMICS storage solutions like the VASAGLE Side Table with Open Storage and the SONGMICS Metal Storage Shelf.

First Impressions and Design

The SONGMICS BELLAH Dresser arrives in a well-packaged box, with all components clearly labeled. The dresser features a sleek, modern design with a durable engineered wood construction and a smooth, easy-to-clean finish. The integrated LED lights are a standout feature—they run along the top edge and can be adjusted to multiple colors and brightness levels via a remote control. This makes it perfect for creating a relaxing bedtime ambiance or a bright, functional space for getting dressed.

The built-in power outlets are conveniently located on the top surface, with two USB ports and two standard AC outlets. This eliminates the need for a separate charging station and keeps cables organized. The dresser also includes soft-close drawer glides, which add a touch of luxury and prevent slamming.

• Tip: Use the remote to set the LED lights to a warm white for a calming effect before sleep.

Assembly Process

Assembly is straightforward thanks to clear instructions and included tools. Most users report completing it in about 45 minutes to an hour. The drawers require some alignment, but the pre-drilled holes and step-by-step guide make it manageable for one person. The LED wiring is pre-installed, so you just need to connect the power cord and plug it in. The outlets are also pre-wired, reducing electrical work to zero.

Storage Capacity and Organization

The BELLAH Dresser offers six spacious drawers, each with a weight capacity of up to 10 lbs. The top two drawers are slightly smaller, ideal for socks and accessories, while the bottom four can hold jeans, sweaters, or even folded linens. The drawer interiors are lined with a protective felt-like material, preventing scratches on delicate items. Compared to the VASAGLE Side Table with Open Storage, which is better for small living rooms, the BELLAH is a true bedroom workhorse.

If you need additional vertical storage in a garage or home office, the SONGMICS Metal Storage Shelf is a great complement, but for clothing and daily essentials, the BELLAH excels.

LED Lighting and Outlets in Action

The LED lights are bright enough to illuminate the entire dresser area, making it easy to find items in the dark. The color options include white, warm white, and multiple RGB hues, which can be set to static or cycling modes. The outlets are rated for standard electronics—laptops, phone chargers, or a small lamp. The USB ports deliver 2.4A each, sufficient for fast charging tablets and phones. One potential downside: the outlets are not surge-protected, so consider using a surge protector for expensive electronics.

• Tip: Use the memory function on the remote to save your favorite lighting color.

Comparison with Other SONGMICS Products

For those who prefer a more minimalistic look, the VASAGLE 6-Tier LED Bookshelf offers similar lighting but in a bookshelf form factor, ideal for living rooms. In the bedroom, the BELLAH is a more complete solution. If you need wall-mounted storage, the SONGMICS Wall-Mounted Jewelry Organizer is perfect for accessories, while the BELLAH handles bulkier clothing. The SONGMICS BELLAH Dresser stands out as a multifunctional piece that combines furniture with smart technology.

The SONGMICS BELLAH Dresser successfully merges style, storage, and smart features. Its LED lights and built-in outlets make it a standout choice for modern bedrooms, while the six drawers provide ample space for clothing. If you're looking to upgrade your bedroom with a functional and attractive piece, the BELLAH Dresser is worth considering. For a complete setup, pair it with the VASAGLE Side Table with Open Storage for additional surface space.
